Wimbledon Hospitality Collateral
Sportsworld is appointed by the All England Club as an official hospitality provider at Wimbledon. It operates two facilities, Fairway Village, for the corporate market and UK clients as well as the Champions Lounge for North American leisure clients.
The Brief
Marketing Team Direct were tasked with reviewing and refreshing all of the marketing collateral. As these materials provide all the information clients require when attending Wimbledon, they often form their first impression of Wimbledon and Sportsworld.The design solution needed to be contemporary, whilst reflecting the traditions of the most famous tennis tournament in the world. It also needed to give Sportsworld’s hospitality a distinct look and feel that would set them apart from the competition.
The Solution
For the UK corporate guests, the tennis racquet illustration with the line ‘Your slice of Wimbledon’, encapsulates these values perfectly. A loose painterly impression of a racquet in mid slice, it appeals to the more discerning customer. It gives a sense of heritage and reflects the artistry of the game. It also gives the impression of a personal and bespoke service, which is the hallmark of Sportsworld's hospitality.The US tour booklet is aimed at the general public, with more emphasis on the action. Full colour action shots communicate the excitement of Wimbledon and the line ‘Taste the atmosphere’ promises the guest a unique experience.
Both US and UK wallets securely carry the ‘Guest Badge’, granting guests access to the facilities. Additional items included car park passes, menus and table place cards. All items were printed on uncoated high white stock to give a high quality feel.
