MTD help Digital Realty Trust boost sales

Digital Realty Trust, the wholesale data centre provider, has commissioned MTD to support its sales team in raising the awareness of DRT and generating pipeline business from the FTSE 100.
In the age of the computer, the demand for wholesale data centre space is rapidly increasing and DRT are the leader in the market across the US and Europe.
The integrated campaign, titled 'Who Wants to Build A Data Centre?' evolved from a data centre tour that revealed DRT's competitive advantage for financial institutions in the City square mile. Their Redhill site has a 21 mile straight line optical connection which in terms of transactional and trading speed is crucial. It also revealed that there is no commercial advantage to building or owning your own data centre.
MTD worked to create a proposition that would be welcomed and understood. Direct mail consisting of a mobile phone pre-loaded with the DRT number in a box, email marketing and a micro site are now all live following extensive and thorough mining and verification of the target audience database. Appointments have already been made and full results will be known in August.
